The FHC program can use a water supply curve when calculating a pipe
network; this can be a pump, towns main, or a fixed pressure device such as a
pressurized cylinder. For any type of supply curve you must supply 8 data
points (pressure and flow).
This
document gives information on how to format the PDT file. This will allow you to add your own pipe types.
Canute has
an extensive number of PDT tables which
covers most pipe types and sizes. We would recommend that you email Canute support before creating or modifying your own PDT.
This
document provides information on how to use FHC successfully for water mist
calculation. FHC can be used with NFPA
750 for low, intermediate and high pressure systems. FHC can also be switch between Hazen-Williams
and Darcy-Weisbach equations as required.
The FHC program will correctly calculate
systems deigned to BS 9251 for both residential and domestic occupancies. However it is important to insure that the
information in the TDS #3 is followed.
