| Merge FHC project data |
You can easily merge data fro two FHC program file by following the instruction below.
Backup the two FHC project data files before you proceed. Open the propjet file [Ctrl+O] you wish to add the pipework into. Then create a node number where you wish to add the pipework to from the second file (we would recommend that you use the highest node number in the systems) say 500, then save the project file [Ctrl+S]. Open the second FHC project file with the pipework you with to copy, and then renumber the nodes with the source node number starting at the node number you are going to copy to, say 500 and then save the project file. Select Project Data option [Ctrl+P] and go to the last tab ‘Nodes / Pipes’. Select all the pipework you wish to copy and press the right hand mouse button then select the copy option. Close the FHC project. Reopen you’re the first FHC project file and select project data [Ctrl+P] then select the last tab ‘Nodes / Pipes’. Goto the end of the pipe data put before the [END] statement and then press [Ctrl+V] to paste the saved pipe data. Check that you only have one [END] command before saving the project. Close the project data window and the FHC program will check the data and report any errors and then display the pipework on the screen. Remember you cannot have duplicate node numbers in the two files. The FHC project file you are copying data into must have a node number which is the same as the start node number in the second file. |
