When calculating a hydraulic model with a pump, we would recommend that you first input all your data and then calculate without a water supply. This will determine the minimum water source supply requirements for your system.
You can now use a water supply curve and recalculate the hydraulic model. This time FHC will try to match the supply curve given and will give you the actual water flow from the system instead of the minimum required. You may find that the density of discard from the heads is grater than then minimum you specified this is normal as FHC is now working from the water source to the heads.
If the water supply curve given is lower than the minimum water source supply requirements then FHC will not be able to balance the system as there is insufficient pump head or flow.
