Sprinkler System Saves Nuclear Power Station
The BBC reports that on Wednesday, 30th May, fire broke out at 09:40 in Oldbury Nuclear Power Station in South Gloucestershire, UK. A generator in the non-nuclear part of the plant overheated and caught fire.According to the BBC the blaze was put out by the sprinkler system minutes after it ignited.

Dan Gould, a spokesman for British Nuclear Group, said, "The fire was in the non-nuclear part of the plant, there were no injuries and no release of activity. However the reactor has been shut down, which is in accordance with standard procedure."
