Armstrong Priestley reports that an arson fire at Crawshaw School occurred on 27 May 2009. The contents of rubbish bins were piled against the doors of a plant room and ignited. Two sprinkler heads operated and extinguished the fire before the arrival of the fire service. The system was reinstated by replacing two heads. |
