Spanish media report that fire destroyed a new paint line at the Volkswagen Seat factory in Pamplona on 14th April. The factory is struggling to restore production. Damages are estimated to be €50 million. There was no mention of a sprinkler system at the factory and Volkswagen is known not to use them in paint booths.
